Mental Bubbles and Parallel Worlds: Can We Unite Amid Chaos?

Elections repeatedly show a deep divide: the country is split roughly 50–50. Gagauzia, Taraclia, and parts of the north consistently vote for the so-called “left,” while the rest of the country leans toward a European future.

These differences are not only the result of propaganda but also of decades during which different mental codes and media consumption habits developed across regions (from Let’s Get Married to Românii au talent). Today, people quite literally live in parallel worlds.
