We’re asking Moldovan and Danish experts at the Moldox Festival and CinemaHora why international cooperation in film is important. Documentary and fiction films not only reflect our social realities and foster mutual solidarity, but also serve as powerful industries with broad societal impact, engaging diverse audiences and practitioners. We’ll discuss why bringing people from across Europe together for festivals matters, and how even countries with a history of conflict have found common ground through film and the arts. The event will conclude with a dialogue between Denmark and Moldova on the role of international collaboration in film and how creativity can unite us.
