MOLDOX Festival announces the selection of films for the National Documentary Competition

On the occasion of its anniversary edition marking 10 years of documentary film and social change in Moldova, the MOLDOX Festival team proudly announces the results of the selection for the national competition of Moldovan medium- and feature-length documentaries.

The call for entries was launched on 4 August 2025 as part of a dedicated festival section aimed at recognising and supporting the strongest voices in Moldovan documentary cinema. For the first time, six Moldovan co-productions — medium- and feature-length — have been selected to be screened in national premiere during the 2025 edition of MOLDOX Festival, taking place from 26 to 30 November at Cineplex Loteanu.

The selected documentaries will compete for the Green Vine Award, worth EUR 1,000, offered by one of the festival’s strategic partners – the Innovate Moldova Project, funded by Sweden. Symbolising energy, growth and vitality, the essence of the Green Vine Award is to encourage new directions and the development of new projects in Moldovan documentary cinema.
